PEANUT AND PRETZEL BARK


Ingredients:
1 - 28 oz pkg Eagle Brand Chocolate or Vanilla flavored candy coating
1 - 1 1/2 cups broken thin pretzels
1 - cup coarsely chopped peanuts ( can use pecans, cashews, or walnuts )
( you can also add a little more of pretzels and nuts than called for )

Instructions:
In heavy saucepan, over Low heat, melt candy coating, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat, stir in remaining ingredients.
Spread into thin layer on 2 aluminum foil-lined baking sheets.
Chill 30 minutes or until firm.
Break into chunks.
Storecovered at room temperature or in refrigerator.

SPICED NUTS



Ingredients :
1 cup sugar
5 tablespoons of water
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions :
Boil sugar and water until it forms a soft ball.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and cinnamon.
Stir and pour mixture over 3 cups of pecans.
Stir until nuts are covered.
Put on wax paper to cool.

APPLE CIDER PUNCH FOR THE HOLIDAYS


Ingredients:
6 cups of apple cider
2 cups of orange juice or cranberry-raspberry juice or orange-mango juice 1/2 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 750ml bottle of sparkling white grape juice or sparkling wine.
Punch bowl
Punch bowl spoon
1 Quart orange sherbert

Instructions:
Step 1
In a punch bowl combine apple cider, juice (orange, cranberry-raspberry, or orange-mango), and lemon juice.
Step 2
Add sparkling while grape juice or sparkling wine.
Step 3
Add orange sherbert.
Step 4
Makes approximately 12 cups.
